LumaTax is an early-stage, venture-backed SaaS company that is focused on providing small businesses with touch-of-a-button simplicity when it comes to sales tax compliance. We’re targeting the 20M+ small businesses in the US that are saddled with state and local tax compliance. We’re all about alleviating the compliance burden for small business owners so they can focus on running their business and enjoying their weekend!

As the Demand Generation Marketing Manager, your will play an integral part in successfully launching a new brand in a competitive market. You’ll be responsible for driving growth via a variety of yet-to-be-established customer acquisition channels. You will have the opportunity to both develop and execute on strategies that achieve LumaTax’s short- and long-term objectives. 

In this role, you will

  • Drive our lead generation strategy, overseeing all customer acquisition programs and activities
  • Continually leverage creativity and data to improve key funnel conversion metrics
  • Set and manage a quarterly budget, identifying opportunities for growth and additional investment
  • Regularly report results/KPI’s to senior leadership team
  • Recruit and manage a team as necessary to achieve objectives

Our ideal candidate:

  • Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth for a new brand, product, or vertical
  • Demonstrated ability to turn strategy into top-notch execution
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, taking ownership and delivering results with little guidance
  • Strong analytical skills – data-driven decision making
  • Recruiting and managing teams internally and remotely
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline
  • 3-5 years experience in a lead generation role, preferably in the B2B tech and/or SMB space
  • Experience with inbound marketing methodology
